Foundation Stage
Welcome to Foundation Stage
This page is where you will find information about our Foundation Stage White Court Curriculum and the topics your child will be learning about.
Each class has their own class page below. This will be used to display their work, pictures and videos, and share their learning journey with parents and carers.
PE days
In Foundation Stage, PE is on a Wednesday. Please remember to send your child into school in their PE kits on these days. Any earrings must be removed, and long hair must be tied up.
Weekly Challenge
The children will be provided with weekly challenges designed to support and develop skills being taught within the classroom. Weekly challenges will come home via our fortnightly newsletter. Please upload any pictures onto Tapestry. We love to see weekly learning.
Forest School
Forest School is a long-term, child-led educational process that uses outdoor, natural environments to help children develop confidence, self-esteem, and holistic skills. Instead of a single session, it involves regular, extended visits where children learn through hands-on experiences and play, focusing on their own curiosity and interests. The concept promotes social, emotional, and physical growth, allowing children to build resilience, independence, and a deeper connection with nature through appropriate risk-taking and collaborative work.
Our Foundation children attend weekly sessions. Please ensure warm, appropriate clothing is provided for each session.
Ducks- Wednesday
Tigers- Thursday
Kangaroos- Friday
