CYCLING TO SCHOOL

Pupils are welcome to cycle (or scoot) to and from school under your supervision and leave their bicycles locked to the bike racks.

Please ensure they:

  1. Enter and leave the school grounds via the Pedestrian entrance.
  2. Dismount from their bicycle when entering the path leading to the school grounds and wheel it to the storage area.
  3. Wear their cycle helmet correctly
  4. Ride sensibly and safely, showing awareness of pedestrians and other cyclists.
  5. Independently lock their bicycle securely and store their cycle helmet in the correct place.

Note: The school cannot accept any responsibility for the safety of bikes or scooters being stored, this is not covered by the school's insurance.

When children join Year 5 they will need to sign a CYCLING PERMIT in order for them to cycle to school independently, please see below.
