Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is only available to children attending White Court School or Little Acorns Nursery morning sessions.
Only children that have registered for Breakfast Club will be able to attend.  A Registration Form MUST be completed as the information contained is essential.  This is available by following the link below.

Sessions times

Breakfast Club will take place in the main School Hall, with some activities on the playground, weather permitting.

Breakfast Club will run each day during term time except for non-pupils days. 

The session times are:

  • Normal Session - 7:45 a.m. to  8.45 a.m.
  • Extra Session - 7:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Behaviour

We expect children to behave just as well at Breakfast Club as they do in school – the same “rules” apply!

Breakfast

Toast, fruit juice and a range of cereals are provided. We also occasionally include croissants, waffles or pancakes.

Staffing

Mrs Bull runs Breakfast Club with support from staff.  Depending on demand for places, additional staff will be appointed to maintain adequate adult child ratios.  All staff will be subject to DBS checks in line with school policy on safeguarding children.

Charges and payment

Charges are £5.00 per normal session and £7.50 for the extra session.

Payment should be made when making bookings using School Gateway.

Terms and Conditions

  • All bookings must be made in advance.  Payments should be made using School Gateway.
  • Refunds will not be given for non-attendance once a booking has been made unless 24hours notice has been given.
  • It is the parents/carers responsibility to check bookings are correct - these can be managed on School Gateway.
  • Persistent late or non-payment of fees may jeopardise a child's place.
  • Staff cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Parents/Carers will be notified of any incidents at Breakfast Club involving their child and informed of the situation.
  • The information provided on the Wrap Around Registration Form should be correct and any changes to contact details, dietary requirements or allergies should be notified.
  • Any Information given on the Wrap Around Care Registration Form is confidential.  However, there may be times, for example in the case of child protection concerns, when details may be passed to other agencies in line with the Child Protection Policy.
  • Any club related communication or information will be received by email.
  • All children are expected to behave appropriately at Breakfast Club.  Parents/Carers will be informed if their child's behaviour is inappropriate.  Breakfast Club will follow the School's Behaviour Management Policy.
  • If a child attends a before school acitivity after attending Breakfast Club the full amount will still be payable.
  • Breakfast Club is an extension of White Court School.  If the school is closed for any reason e.g. non-pupil day/snow day, Breakfast Club will also be closed.
  • All school policies apply to Breakfast Club - details of these are available on the website.

After School Club

After School Club is only available to all children attending White Court School or Little Acorns Nursery.  Only children that have registered for After School Club will be able to attend.  A Registration Form MUST be completed as the information contained is essential.  This is available by following the link below.

Session Times

After School Club will take place in the main School Hall and will offer the children a range of fun activities and theme-based play, both inside and outside, weather permitting.

Children will be given a snack and drink on arrival, and served a light tea later within the session. The After School Club Tea Menu is available to view below.  Children can be collected from the school office foyer.

After School Club will run each day during term time except for non-pupils days.

The session times are:

  • Normal Session - 3:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Extended Session - 3:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Charges are £8.00 per normal session and £12.00 for the extended session.

Payment should be made when making bookings using School Gateway.

  • If a child is not collected by 6.00pm, a charge of £10.00 per 15 minutes will be incurred, to cover the costs of the two staff who are legally required to stay. If a child remains at 6.30pm, After School Club staff are legally required to contact Social Care.

  • Medication will be administered by the staff providing written consent is held from a parent/carer.
  • Parents/Carers will be notified of any incidents at After School Club involving their child and informed of the situation.
  • The information provided on the Wrap Around Care Registration Form should be correct and any changes to contact details should be notified.
