Year 6 residentials
Year 6 currently go to the Bradwell Outdoor Centre for 5 days.
This Centre is a great place to take Year 6 children because it gives them the chance to build confidence, teamwork, and independence in a safe and exciting environment. With activities like sailing, climbing, mountain biking and raft building, pupils can try new challenges while being supported by experienced instructors. The centre encourages problem-solving and communication, helping children prepare for the transition to secondary school.
We have stayed in the accommodation block as well as the canvas tents and they have both been excellent.
Each group has a member of White Court Staff with them to look after their wellbeing, whilst the Bradwell instructors lead the activities.
We invite parents to a meeting to introduce the trip in the June of when the children are in Year 5. This will help spread the payments so you can budget accordingly and we go through the activities we will be doing along with what equipment will be needed for the week.
